The Oamk Master's degree in Education Entrepreneurship will work with a number of organizations, both local and global, to support its quality offering. Key Finnish partners include:
|OULU EduLAB IS A ONE or TWO SEMESTER, FULL-TIME PRE-INCUBATOR + INCUBATOR PROGRAM IN ENGLISH SUPPORTING THE CREATION OF PROTOTYPES, PRODUCTS AND START-UPS TARGETING THE GLOBAL EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY.|
The EduLAB creates interdisciplinary teams to develop prototypes of educational technology solutions and tools in a full-time, rapid concept-design process over either one or two semesters (5 – 10 months). Teams include students and professionals from Finland and around the world with expertise in graphic design, programming, sound design, game design, production, script-writing, sales and marketing, and education. A new intake of students takes place every August and runs for 2 semesters. All coaching and support in the LAB is offered in English.
The Master’s degree in Education Entrepreneurship will be integrated with the Oulu EduLAB by having the possibility to match Master’s students with interdisciplinary EduLAB teams for the support of prototyping and testing of Master's students' education innovations and prototypes.
In formal partnership with the City of Oulu’s premiere science centre – Tietomaa, Master's degree students will have the opportunity to test prototypes within the the centre's permanent education product testing facility including the capability to test AR, VR and digital products with school groups from the Oulu region. In this way, Master's students can get feedback from Oulu schools, teachers, students and families.
