Education leading to a Bachelor's degree is also arranged as adult education by taking the needs of mature students into account. Studies can be arranged as daytime, evening and weekend studies. Duration of studies depend on possible earlier studies and the mode of studies. The extent of Bachelor's degrees is 210 - 270 credits. Education leading to a degree is free of charge.
The required basic education differs depending on the degree programme one is applying to. The applicant is requested to acquaint oneself with the degree programme specific selection criteria before applying.
In the education leading to Bachelor's degree that is conducted as adult education the eligibility criteria emphasise applicants' previous degrees, work experience and/or higher education studies.
Changes to the application can be made only during the application period. The applicant must deliver copies of all the required documents to the Admissions Office of Oulu University of Applied Sciences by the end of the application period. In the application phase only the eligibility will be assessed from the certificates. The selection will be done according to the information the applicant has given in the application form. The original certificates will be checked from the accepted applicants. The University of Applied Sciences may revoke the selection if the information the applicant has given is incorrect or false.
In the autumn 2010 the following Bachelor's degree programmes will be available as adult education and are conducted in English.
