Bachelor's Degrees in English

Students for the Bachelor's Degree Programmes conducted in English will be selected through a national joint application system. Applications to the Bachelor degree programmes conducted in English will be submitted through an online application form during the application period at www.admissions.fi. In the joint application system an applicant may submit only one application and choose at most four options from one or several universities of applied sciences.

At Oulu University of Applied Sciences the following Bachelor's degree programmes are available in English:

The Degree Programme in Information Technology leads to a Bachelor of Engineering degree within four years of full-time study and the Degree Programmes in International Business and Business Information Technology lead to a Bachelor of Business Administration degree within three-and-a-half years.

Applicants interested in applying for the degree programmes must have either general or field-specific eligibility for higher education studies. A good command of English language is a prerequisite. The degree programmes accept altogether 85 new students, of which up to 50 % are foreigners.

Application Period

The application period for the International Degree Programmes starting in the academic year 2012–2013 is from the 9th of January to the 14th of February 2012. The entrance examinations will be held in April 2012. The entrance examinations of Oulu UAS will be held in Finland and in some countries the entrance examinations may also be taken in the Finnish embassy or culture and science institution with the discretion of the respective embassy or institution.
