Master's degree programmes at universities of applied sciences are strongly oriented towards the working life. They deepen and widen students' professional skills. Their extent is 60 - 90 ECTS credits depending on the field.

The required basic education differs depending on the degree programme one is applying to. The applicant is requested to acquaint oneself with the degree programme specifice selection criteria before applying.

The minimum eligiblity criteria for these programmes is a suitable Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years work experience within the field of the degree gained after the graduation.

Changes to the application can be made only during the application period. The applicant must deliver copies of all the required documents to the Admissions Office of Oulu University of Applied Sciences by the end of the application period. In the application phase only the eligibility will be assessed from the certificates. The selection will be done according to the information the applicant has given in the application form. The original certificates will be checked from the accepted applicants. The University of Applied Sciences may cancel the selection if the information the applicant has given is incorrect or false.

Master’s Degree Programmes Starting in Autumn 2012

The Application Period for Master's Degree Programme in Industrial Management and Master's Degree Programme in Information Technology is in March 5 – April 3 2012. The application period will end on the last day of the application period at 16:15 Finnish time (GMT +2 hours) when the online application system will be closed.
