The sizing basis for studies is an ECTS credit. The credits describe the amount of work the student is required to do in order to complete the course. One ECTS credit corresponds to an average of 27 hours of work by the student.

Examples of study tasks include examinations, various practical works, written assignments, essays, summaries, lecture diaries, learning diaries or portfolios. Theoretical lectures do not usually have an attendance obligation, but attendance is generally required for language studies and training lessons.
