In the university of applied sciences, practical training is an integral part of all fields of studies. The purpose of practical training is to provide the students with an opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.

Students may carry out their practical training in Finland, but also abroad. For the placements abroad Oulu University of Applied Sciences awards grants to enhance the international study and work experience of its students.
