The personal study plan (HOPS) is your own plan on how you are going to complete the Bachelor's degree. The electronic personal study plan (eHOPS) is a tool for drawing it up. Log into the eHOPS with your Asio user name and password.
With the help of the tool you can plan the progress of your studies and completion of the degree and also follow the progress of your studies. The curriculum of your study programme determines the frame of your studies. In the framework of degree objectives you can take such a degree as you want and select courses that interest you and support your development of expertise. You can select for example free-choice studies of the Oulu University of Applied Sciences.
Divide your study period into parts. Write down in the eHOPS what you will study during each academic year. Even though studying is your main task, take also other matters which belong to your life into consideration.
Follow the implementation of your plan regularly. You can update your HOPS when your studies proceed and your career plan is specified. For example a year as an exchange student or matters which take place in your personal life can affect your plan.
You can get guidance for HOPS and eHOPS from your tutor teacher, head of the degree programme or student counsellor.
