Learning outcomes:

The student becomes acquainted with current research problems and development tasks in the field of information technology, necessary research methods and research writing. The seminar has a practical orientation and aims to give ideas for the subject of Bachelor's thesis.

Contents:

The process of thesis. Recapitulation of methods. Current issues of IT research problems and development tasks. Research writing, taught by English language lecturer (1,5 study points).

Requirements:

Active participation in the seminar. Presentation of the subject of the student's own thesis. Exercises of research writing. Seminar report.

To be announced at the beginning of the course.

Prerequisites:

No prerequisites needed.

Assessment:

Pass/fail

Notes:

Part 1: Orientation to bachelor's thesis in 2nd study year (0,5 cr). Part 2: Seminar and research writing after work practice (2,5 cr).
