The student and teacher exchanges are usually governed by either bilateral agreements signed between Oulu University of Applied Sciences and its partners or the framework of an exchange programme.

Oulu University of Applied Sciences actively takes part in the most of the EU programmes in the field of education as well as in other exchange programmes.

We have a network of over 120 Socrates-Erasmus partners around Europe. Leonardo da Vinci projects are carried out as well. The schools of Oulu University of Applied Sciences belong to Nordplus networks of their respective fields and Oulu University of Applied Sciences is also a member of the University of the Arctic, which offers opportunities for studies and study abroad experiences in the circumpolar areas.
