Leonardo da Vinci is the European Union's programme in the field of vocational training. It supports projects which develop basic, further and supplementary vocational training in European co-operation. The second phase of the Leonardo programme runs until the end of 2006.

Some 30 European countries are involved in the Leonardo da Vinci programme. For students of Oulu University of Applied Sciences, the Leonardo programme offers opportunities for practical training abroad.
