The automotive laboratory of the School of Engineering performs automotive testing, tuning and adjustment both as laboratory study exercises and as service provision. The laboratory is equipped with a four-wheel dynamometer for vehicle testing and modern equipment for troubleshooting and adjustments.
Special emphasis in both the automotive laboratory and the motor laboratory is on the knowledge of modern automotive electronics, CAN bus data acquisition and the analysis of the operation of vehicles and motors.
In addition to laboratory conditions, it is also possible to measure the functioning of vehicles in real-life conditions and equip them with mobile data acquisition systems, which allows testing personnel to analyse the data afterwards and make decisions on necessary measures.
