Events

Different events are organised for the Oulu University of Applied Sciences’ alumni, students and personnel.

Share your experience

Alumni and the schools of the Oulu University of Applied Sciences wish to improve connections between students and working life. Our purpose is to inform students about possible work to them after graduation. Our current students are inspired and motivated to complete their studies after hearing stories told by alumna who are currently working in their fields of study.

Development of education

As representatives of working life, alumni participate in working groups that develop education in the Oulu University of Applied Sciences.

Working life projects

Alumni provide thesis and traineeship placements for students. Alumna activities are also a channel for starting other working life projects between students and companies.

Lectures and business visits

Alumni lecture on working life issues and tell students about their experiences concerning studying and working.

Mentors

Mentors are graduated students from the Oulu University of Applied Sciences. They help students with future challenges of working life and alumna tell about their experiences studying and working to applicants and student groups that have recently started their studies.

Alumni are kept informed via web pages, newsletters and an e-mail list.
