Finnish National Network for East and Southeast Asia

All twentynine universtities of applied sciences under Ministry of Education are members of Finnish National Network for East and Southeast Asia. In every university of applied sciences there is an Asia contact person. In Oulu University of Applied Sciences the contact person is:

Marjo Pääskylä is also member of the executive group of the network.

The aim of the activities of the network is to develop and support universities of applied sciences' studies, teaching, expertise, working life connections, internationalisation and mobility related to East and Southeast Asia. The network promotes multidisciplinary co-operation, distribution of work and specialisation of the universities of applied sciences by increasing the flow of information between the higher education institutions.

The activities of the network serve students, teachers and other staff of the universities of applied sciences as well as the surrounding society. The network develops co-operation with the National University Network for East and Southeast Asian Studies.
