responsible for the measurement work package (WP3)
co-operates closely in the project with another Finnish partner Oulu Building Supervision Office
measurements of air tightness and energy consumption will be done for approximately 50 low energy/passive level family houses and few apartment buildings, constructed by the 9 associate partner companies
the key competence areas of the institute include materials technology, cold climate technology and renewable energy
the focus area in the project is the use of concrete for energy efficient buildings
with simulations and measurements of air tightness, temperature distribution and energy consumption in concrete buildings, NORUT will analyze today’s state of the art and determine what are the development areas
NORUT will work in close co-operation with industry partners Betong & Entreprenørsenteret, a building contractor based in Lofoten, and specialized in prefabricated concrete construction as well as with Norcem, which is the only cement producer in Norway
