This investment project aims at diversifying the printed electronics development environment and supporting the BioPrint project. The purpose of the project is to introduce different printing techniques alongside the already used inkjet.
This investment also enables closer co-operation between universities and research facilities in the printed electronics field.
Oulu University of Applied Sciences focuses on printed electronics applications made in co-operation with small and medium-sized companies. Currently, these companies have only limited chances to test different applications on research facilities. This investment lowers the companies’ threshold of participating in the development and testing of printed electronics applications.
