With a library card received at the Library of Oulu UAS the customer can borrow material from any of the library units of Oulu UAS. The loans can be returned to any of the library units, no matter which library unit they have been borrowed from. Reference library loans should be returned to the library unit they have been borrowed from.

Customers can renew loans that have no reservations for them. Loans can be renewed 20 times if there are no reservations attached to them. Video recordings borrowed from the Library of Music, Dance and Media cannot be renewed. The library informs the customer only by e-mail about an oncoming due date 3-5 days before a loan is due. The customers are obliged to take care of their loan renewals even if they haven't received an e-mail notice.

Loans can be renewed via Leevi online catalogue, at the customer service desk of the library units, by e-mail, or by phone.

The loan periods are stated in the Library rules.
