International co-operation with foreign universities and enterprises is an essential element in the activities of the School of Business and Information Management. International activities include student, teacher and staff exchange programmes, practical training abroad, and international projects.
The focus of the exchange programmes is on countries in Europe, North America and Asia. The School of Business and Information Management has 33 partner institutions in 24 countries.
Students studying in Oulu can also benefit from international activities by interacting with foreign degree and exchange students, by becoming a tutor for them, by participating in courses taught in foreign languages and by attending lectures given by visiting lecturers.
The international club Club KulttuRally of the Student Union (OSAKO) and the Oulu BBA Students’ Association Otro are actively involved in international activities. The activities are open for all and provide an opportunity to participate in the international events of the University of Applied Sciences.
