The School of Renewable Natural Resources in Oulu University of Applied Sciences represents a new kind of thinking in the development of livelihoods and the environment.

The agronomists graduating from our Agricultural and Rural Industries degree programme are employed in expert tasks of guidance, administration and the other organisations in the sector as well as in business life, or they can become independent entrepreneurs.

The horticulturists graduating from the Horticulture degree programme are employed in expert tasks of guidance and administration, in business life, or they can become entrepreneurs.

The horticulturists graduating from the Landscape Planning degree programme are employed in planning offices, in organisations responsible of the landscape and their maintenance in cities and municipalities, as well as in other expert tasks of guidance and administration in the discipline, or they can become entrepreneurs.

A graduate is developer of his/her sector who has communication and co-operation skills, and is also capable of independent work, information seeking and continuous learning. He/she is qualified to take planning tasks, business and development projects as well as international tasks.
