How to Influence Your Studies

In Oamk the students can influence their studies and improve education in many different ways. With your own activity, for example by participating in matters related to your studies, discussing and commenting, you can directly influence many things. Student feedback system gives equal opportunities to the students to give feedback and improve education.

Student Feedback System

Oamk's student feedback system gives equal opportunities to the students to give feedback and improve education. The student feedback system consists of student surveys, course feedback and Degree Programme Teams. 



Student surveys are organised through an electronic questionnaire every year. The aim of the survey is to get the students’ views on how studies are going, what do students think of the education and what suggestions they have for improving it.

Course feedback is collected continually from every study period.  Course feedback is collected through Peppi. The teacher will develop the course according to the feedback.  

In the Degree Programme Teams students can develop their own degree programme with teachers and stakeholders. Degree Programme Team meets 2–4 times each year.

In addition to the Degree Programme Teams, students serve on the board of the University of Applied Sciences, the Quality and Responsibility working group and in other working groups as needed.
