Objectives | The student gains knowledge and skills in the proper application of laboratory equipment and tools, and ability to carry out basic measurements in a laboratory. The student demonstrates ability to carry out the quality assessment and examination of laboratory water and maintain water purifiers. The student gains knowledge and skills in the use of chemicals and is able to prepare solutions accurately and safely. The student works in accordance with occupational safety and health and follows the waste management instructions. |
Content | Use and maintenance of the microscope. Use and maintenance of the pH meter and spectrophotometer. Water purifiers. Examination of water quality. Preparation of solutions. Care of instruments. |
