Objectives | After completing this module, a student understands production-enhancing principles and is able to find and justify targets from the production to automatize and robotize. The student is able to sketch solutions for automation and robotization of production processes. The student can put in practice different methods, equipment and simulation tools for production automation. The student recognizes different robot types, understands the principles of robot programming and is able to design a basic robot cell - considering safety requirements. The student can explain machine vision possibilities in production automation. The student understands workpiece fixing, and gripping principles of production machinery, robot and manipulators. The student can explain design for manufacturing principles and its demands for product design. |
