Objectives | The objectives for the fundamentals of coaching course are designed to help participants develop basic knowledge and skills in coaching while deepening their understanding of coaching principles and methodologies. Participants are expected to achieve the following competence goals: Understanding the Fundamentals of Coaching: Define coaching and comprehend its basic concepts. Explain the role of coaching in organizations and individual development. Communication and Listening Skills: Practice coaching-related conversation techniques. Enhance active listening and empathetic communication skills. Skill in Asking Coaching Questions: Learn to pose open-ended questions and challenge thinking. Develop the ability to choose the appropriate question type for the situation. Goal Orientation: Learn to set and clarify goals in a coaching situation. Understand how coaching can support goal achievement. Self-awareness and Reflective Ability: Develop awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement as a coach. Learn to reflect on coaching situations and derive insights. Ethical Principles: Identify and understand the ethical principles of coaching. Develop the ability to handle sensitive topics confidentially and respectfully. Giving and Receiving Feedback: Develop the skill of providing constructive feedback during the coaching process. Practice receiving feedback on one's coaching and improving based on it. Coaching Process Management: Understand the stages of the coaching process and be able to plan and manage them. Develop the ability to adapt to different situations and client contexts. Achieving these competency objectives enables participants to apply the fundamentals of coaching in various situations effectively, contributing to coaching initiatives at the organizational or individual level. |
