International education

Raahe School of Engineering and Business offers a unique opportunity to receive a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration in an international environment. We educate top experts in engineering and business for expert tasks in the Raahe/Oulu area and for international positions. The education is provided in close cooperation with companies from the area and actors from the sub-region. It is possible to receive a bachelor's degree in five different degree programmes, in one of which the teaching is provided in English.

Professional Specialisation Studies

Professional specialisation studies, mainly consisting of 30 - 60 credits, are extensive supplementary education programmes based on a polytechnic degree. Our school provides professional specialisation studies in Symbian programming and Mobile Linux.

Open university studies

As its name implies, the open university offers university studies for anyone who desires it regardless of educational background. The study units of the open university are the same as in education leading to a degree.

Supplementary education

We plan and provide supplementary education to meet the needs of companies and organisations, both on campus and through distance learning. The subject matter and the duration and level of the teaching are tailored to meet the needs of working life. The instructors include teachers from the school and experts from business and industry.
