Education leading to a bachelor's degree is also arranged as adult education by taking the needs of mature students into account. Studies can be arranged during the day, in the evening and on weekends. The duration of studies depends on possible earlier studies and the mode of studies. Bachelor's degrees consist of 210-240 credits. Education leading to a degree is free of charge.
In the education leading to bachelor's degree that is conducted as adult education, the eligibility criteria emphasise an applicant’s previous degrees, work experience and/or higher education studies. These students are selected through the National Joint Application System (annually in March and April and in September).
At the present time, adult education leading to a degree is provided in Finnish at Raahe.
