A modern way to study at a university of applied sciences

At the open university, you can participate in the courses of degree programmes without the right to take a degree. Studies at the open university can be used to maintain and expand one's vocational skills, try studies or just to find out about interesting subjects.

Open education is provided in connection with the education leading to a degree at the Oulu University of Applied Sciences or in a special group. Students can choose from almost all the teaching leading to a degree provided by the Oulu University of Applied Sciences. Interesting English-language study modules can be searched for using the ECTS guide, while the section's contact person can also provide information about study possibilities. The price of the study module is determined by the number of credits.
