Oulu University of Applied Science's School of Engineering is a high-quality engineering educator, strong in teaching and professional expertise. The School of Engineering, a part of one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Finland, operates in one of the fastest growing areas of the country and educates professionals for one of the Europe's most significant centre of competence - the Oulu region. A significant amount of high technology ability has been concentrated in the area.
The modern and versatile facilities are planned for a good quality engineering education as well as to guarantee the ability to keep up with the fast development of the field of engineering.
The School of Engineering cooperates closely with local companies, technology research centres and the University of Oulu, which results in versatile employment opportunities for the graduates.
