Business Engineering

Oulu University of Applied Sciences' School of Engineering offers professional specialisation studies in business engineering. The Oulu region is renowned for its technology expertise, and the significance of the business sector is strongly reflected in the development of the area.

Business Engineering (BE) studies are designed to respond to the needs of business life in the field of engineering. The aim of the studies is to educate engineers to work in the various fields of the business environment and provide students with the expertise required in international companies. The main study focus is on the skills needed for utilizing the results of technical work on the export market.

The programme is an excellent opportunity to explore subjects such as marketing, export and strategic management in an international study group as well as it provides students with a know-how they can apply to their own work and future career. Successful completion of the studies requires a good knowledge of English.
