The Business Engineering (BE) studies consist of several separate modules which are described below and allow students to earn a total of 30 ECTS credits. The modules include lectures, exercises and company visits. Please note that the Business Engineering programme must be taken in its entirety (30 ECTS cr) due to pedagogical considerations and the curricular structure of the studies.

Objectives of an enterprise, the business idea, the process of creating a business strategy, structure of the business plan, marketing, production, development of human resources, methods of business forecasting, business cases.
Marketing research, customer needs, segmentation, sales, distribution, launch into the market, advertising, financing of the marketing, after marketing, delivery contracts, internal marketing.
Marketing research abroad, search for representatives, accomplishment of the export plan, financing of export, cultural differences in marketing, trade within the European Union, fairs as a means of export, agent contracts, terms of delivery, delivery contracts. Modes of transport, differences between the transportation systems in different countries, forwarding, terms of delivery, packaging, transport costs, case presentations, study visits to transportation enterprises. Delivery contracts, agency agreements, transport contracts, regulations in employment relations, the establishment of sales business.
A general accounting for administration in Europe, the economic product and the production calculations inside the enterprise for own purpose to control the profitability.
A general picture of the quality control in a company, topical quality standards, methods of setting up and maintaining the quality systems.
Costs of the information management and information network, construction of the network, IM contracts, IT security, trends in information management.
Methods of leadership in a creative work environment, people and teamwork skills, motivation methods, entrepreneurship inside the business. Oral presentations, negotiation skills in an international work environment, cultural differences in communication, self-knowledge.
Project plan, the tools of project work, project stages, requirements for the management in project work, project cases in businesses. A project work based on student's own interests. Students are encouraged to make use of the theoretical base provided in class and focus the project on useful topics in regard to student's own work and career.
