Student discounts relieve housekeeping

Students housekeeping is often really tight budgeted and new acquisition can't be made so easily. Fortunately there are student discounts which one can be get with a student card. The discount covers many services and products.

The student card gives many benefits, when showed in the right places. The card can pay itself back only in a day! Let's take Miss Student as an example.

In the student restaurant she can get cheaper lunch as long as she remembers to show her student card.

Miss Student isn't eager to walk to school every day, and going by bicycle isn't an option because it's being repaired in a local shop. So she jumps on a local bus. She can ride the bus conveniently with a student price.

In the middle of the day Miss Student suddenly gets hungry, so she heads to the student restaurant and buys a lunch. In the checkout she shows her student card, so the price of the meal won't hurt too much. During the lunch break her friend shows off her new hair style. Hairdresser didn't cost that much, because she remembered to mention that she is a student. The friend also boasts that she reserved a time for a beautician.

After the lunch she needs to take some copies of her school work. From the shop of the field-specific student association she can get a small discount with her student card.

After the school day she heads to the swimming hall and gym. She is very pleased to hear that she can also get the swimming hall and gym tickets with a student price. Because she likes all group sports she also knows that as a member of sport teams she can keep herself in shape with a cheap price.

After the day it's time to travel back home and do school work. It would also be nice to visit somewhere before the night. How about visiting the theatre, the movies or the science centre? After that she could maybe sit a while in a bar and maybe have a few beers, with student discount of course. Maybe she could ask some friends to join her?

When she is preparing herself for the evening, she is already planning for the weekend. She is planning to visit her parents. Should I take a train or a bus? She can get the same discount from both, but which is faster and fits her schedule better?
