Lecturer Kosmas Kavadias from Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus is teaching at Oamk's department of energy and automation this week. This is Kavadias’ third time in Oulu and he is happy to be back.

– I really enjoyed my first time here, Kavadias describes his good first impressions of Oulu and Oamk.

– There are a lot of differences from Greece – different climate, different people and different culture. I like the fact that I have the opportunity to work with people from different cultures, Kavadias explains.

At Oamk, Kavadias is teaching courses about solar power applications. On his courses he is teaching the students how they can utilize solar energy to produce useful energy – both heat and electricity. Kavadias elaborates that with globalisation, gaining knowledge about different ways to produce energy is important. kosmas juttukuva.png
