Energy efficiency in Communities - experiences & best practices from European projects, December 3, 2018, The Arctic University of Norway, Narvik

Smart city theme seems to be hot topic in many Nordic cities. The Norwegian N-EEC seminar brought more evidence for this fact. After N-EEC experts presented best practices and experiences in the three N-EEC projects, the second session included speeches by various experts by Narvik Kommun in their approach towards smart and sustainable city. Except participation from Finland, Sweden and Norway, three experts from The Northern Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov in Arghangelsk, Russia, representing Kolarctic project FAMARB (Facility Management of Residential Buildings in Barents Region) enjoyed the seminar.

Energy efficiency in Communities - Learn, Plan, Do From our European Partners, December 11, 2018, Cork County Council & Northridge Community Enterprise, Cork

Cork County Council in co-operation with Northridge Community Enterprise had the opportunity to host the fifth and final N-EEC seminar. Presentations, varied from user experiences about energy issues in buildings to sustainable approaches in housing in general, were focusing more on practical issues than scientific results, as the title of the event also shows. Active audience welcomed presentations with good questions and discussions going deeper inside topics. All visitors enjoyed the great scenery at event site on sixteenth floor of Cork County Hall.
