Spring is coming despite of the coronavirus

The coronavirus situation in Oulu has improved. The number of coronavirus cases has decreased during last two weeks. However, the incidence of coronavirus cases is still high, and Oulu is still in the acceleration phase.

Oamk follows the instructions of authorities and continues with the hybrid model until 31 May. Oamk updates information when needed.

Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare’s six essentials on how to protect yourself and your loved ones from a coronavirus infection:

1. If you get symptoms, go get tested for coronavirus and otherwise stay at home.
2. Keep a distance of more than 2 metres to other people.
3. Maintain good hand hygiene and follow the coughing etiquette.
4. Wear a mask when you cannot keep a safe distance from others.
5. Download the Koronavilkku app.
6. Take the vaccine when your turn comes.
