Autumn semester begins mainly with distance education and working at Oamk

The first period of Oamk's autumn semester will be mostly held remotely. The first period is between 24.8.–25.10.2020.

On-campus teaching is fully organized only for the new first year students. First new students begin their studies on 17 August.

Other students (including incoming exchange students) study on campuses during the first period only in cases where distance education is not possible. The schools of Oamk will decide of contact teaching and inform students and staff about it.

Staff who do not have a necessary reason to work on campus will continue to do remote work.

Everyone studying and working on campus must still remember to follow safety and hygiene guidelines.

The decisions taken now apply to the first period, between 24 August and 25 October. Decisions for the the next period will be made during August. Oamk's academic year opening on September 2 will also be held remotely this year.

Oamk closely follows the development of the coronary situation and the guidance of the authorities. Oamk is prepared to respond quickly if the epidemic situation or regulatory regulations require it.
