Professional Teacher Education

The department of professional teacher education offers an exchange programme in English during 2018-2019, see below. You can also study Finnish Survival Course! It may be also possible to pursue interdisciplinary project studies in Oamk LABs

Autumn 2018 or Spring 2019

You may pursue professional teacher education exchange studies by building your own personal study programme. You will become acquainted with Finnish education by acting as an assistant teacher at a school. You will have the opportunity to learn about pedagogical methods, student assessment, implementation of special education & support, the vocational training environment, etc.

In addition to the above, you can supplement skills with optional teacher studies, as listed below. The extent of the studies to be completed is typically between 5 to 20 ECTS cr. All courses listed below are instructed in English. The courses are available either in the autumn or spring term. N.B.! You can choose courses only from the professional teacher education course list due to timetabling constraints.
