7Q00BK48 Expert Skills in MRI and MRI Procedures (3 cr)
Prerequisites The student has passed the studies of O6380RH Adult in MRI and CT Examinations and Procedures and O6396RH MRI Examinations and Procedures in Practice.
Objectives Student can describe the most common examinations which are done with magnetic resonance imaging. The student demonstrates ability to perform most common magnetic resonance imaging examinations and MRI-guided procedures safely and appropriately. Student can analyze the facts which influence on safety in those examinations.
Student is able to guide and provide care to patients undergoing magnetic resonance imaging examinations and MRI-guided procedures. Student is able to safely use contrast agents and treat reactions due to them.
Content Magnetic resonance imaging. Procedures under magnetic resonance imaging guidance. Patient guidance and nursing care during magnetic resonance imaging or procedures.
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
