| Objectives | Part 1. DENTAL SEALANTS 2.0 ECTS The student is able to applicate pit and fissure sealants Part. 2 METHODS OF CARIOLOGICAL CARE (2 ECTS) The student deepens his/her knowledge of the etiology of caries and cariological treatment. After these studies student has gained knowledge and practice of the cariological tasks of a dental hygienist as well as the cariological treatment he/she will be responsible for. The student familiarizes him/herself with the basics of aesthetic dental care and learns how to utilize the computer program / application used in Dentopolis. This clinical practice takes place in Dentopolis. |
| Content | Part 1. DENTAL SEALANTS (1.5) Common recommendations, sealant materials, the individual steps of the sealing process Part 2. METHODS OF CARIOLOGICAL CARE (2 ECTS) Principals, exercises and other tasks of commonly used cariological materials, instruments and methods. |
