Description


AT00CV69 Dance Didactics (3 cr)
Prerequisites If necessary, the student, teacher / teacher tutor / study councellor discuss the other recommended studies in HOPS discussions.
Objectives I plan, implement and evaluate dance teaching.
I set learning goals and implement the teaching I have planned.
I use a suitable dance terminology.
I choose and use suitable music.
I reflect my expertise, my development needs and my strengths in relation to dance teaching.
Content Structure of a dance lesson. Group dynamics and controlling a group. Planning dance teaching: Compiling plan for dance lesson. Terminology. Basics of teaching dance. Evaluation and feedback.
Recommended optional programme components If necessary, the student advisor will recommend optional programme components for each student based on their individual study plan.
Accomplishment methods I demonstrate my competence through the learning tasks instructed in the course. Specifies the study options and learning tasks are specified in the implementation plan.
Execution methods The primary method of implementation is defined in the implementation plan.
Materials The study material is defined in the implementation plan.

I'm not able to plan, implement and/or evaluate dance teaching.
I don't take responsibility for competence development.
I'm not able to act as a peer evaluator.
I'm not able to evaluate my own skills or my actions.
I'm not able to take responsibility for my learning.
By my own actions, I weaken the chances of success or the atmosphere of interaction for others.

Further Information The course is part of the vocational teacher's pedagogical studies (total 60 CR).

If the student wishes to take into account the previously acquired competence, or wishes to have an alternative method of completion of the course, the student initiates the accreditation process.
