Objectives | Student is able to make calculations concerning system dynamics. Student is familiar with the transient responses in control design. Student can use computer aided solutions for designingand simulating PID-control. Student is able to design some of the advanced control methods. Student is able to function in English speaking work environment and has a command of English terminology for the field. |
Content | System dynamics, differential and difference equations, system modelling and identification, transient response, control engineering mathematics, control loops, control design, tuning and validation. Laboratory exercises of control engineering. Design projects. Advanced control design and simulation. Matlab/Simulink/Octave. Technical vocabulary in English. Describing a process. |
