M2467MS Bachelor's Thesis (12 cr)
Prerequisites M2024YS Research and Development, 3 ects.
Objectives Students are able to apply their knowledge and skills in the research work related to their professional studies, in which they demonstrate familiarity with the subject matter of their thesis and the professional competence required for the task. Students can also write academic texts in a fashion required by research. The thesis is an essay, other written product, such as educational material or development task given by working life. An artistic project can be attached to the thesis as the subject of the research, for example a composition, an arrangement, a concert or some other public event.
Content Planning of the Bachelor¿s thesis, presentation of the plan, preparation and presentation of the thesis at the Bachelor's thesis seminar and at its concluding seminar, and acting as an opponent for a fellow student's thesis. If the subject of the research for the Bachelor¿s thesis is a concert, for example, the student both organizes the event and is the performer or one of the performers in the event. A more precise description of the course can be found at the student intranet. Those who have completed their thesis, participate in a maturity test, for which specific instructions can be found on the student intranet.
