Objectives | The student knows what project management means in practice and is able to act as a quantity surveyor both in new construction and renovation projects. He is able to make cost estimations in various stages of a building project and knows what the difference is between leadership and management in building processes. He/she knows what property management and facilities management mean. The student knows the most common environmental certification systems and is able to apply them in different processes. The student is able to communicate and interact in a constructive and proper way and knows the terminology needed in the tasks/situations in English. |

General conditions for building conditions (YSE 1998) 5. Cost estimation 6. LCC-estimation 7. Environmental certification systems 8. Managing people – difference between leadership and management 9.
